our overnight stay was a birthday treat for my husband, it was just perfect !

Castle Durrow is an exquisite relaxed and beautifully presented gem of a country house, not grand and ostentatious but magnificent in its details and warmth. It's intimate and inviting and the design element and touches of personal taste are superb. We would love to meet Peter and Shelley but didnt want to disturb them on our brief visit. Ideally we would like to take a number of the rooms overlooking the walled garden for a group of family and friends, so we'll have to plan for that in the future. If there was one recommendation Id make it would be that the beautiful gardens are sharpened up a little with weeding and proper edging. No broadband in bedrooms and not tobacco on sale is a great bonus, well done. Helping people relax and not poison themselves. Sharon my wife noted that it would be a good marketing ploy to ask people would they like to return, and immediately offer them a discount or incentive to do so, and perhaps a small discount if they shared there positive experiences on facebook with photos. The marketing coverage would be huge nationally and internationally. I as a cost auditor would love to have the opportunity to review all major cost areas and offer the potential for substantial savings.
