The house and grounds were amazing, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff were warm and welcoming. The food was exceptional, it is the perfect place for a quiet break away.

a very relaxing break, extremely friendly staff and service., master bedrooms lovely ans spacious. Dinner menu excellent, will be returning. We went in July and gardens were fabulous. only gripe , no lift up to bedroom , will not suit impaired mobility

We stayed for a couple of nights with friends to celebrate a birthday and were more than pleased with the hotel. We had discovered it by chance when we stopped for coffee when in the area months earlier and were so impressed that we returned for a short stay. Our accommodation in the main house was superb - large airy rooms, wonderful views, impeccably clean and everything worked! The dining room is delightful - elegant dining, friendly attentive service, good food and again such wonderful views. I so enjoyed the lamb dish on the first night that I had the same dish the following evening! Reception staff were bright and attentive and all in all it was a most pleasant experience. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to family and friends and certainly intend to return.
